Emerita Masis-Jimenez, 96, passed on January 15, 2021. She was born in Puerto Limón, Limón on September 30, 1924.

She married Ramon in 1942 and immigrated to Washington D.C. in 1970, to live with Emerita\'s sister, Teresa. Together they raised 3 children Freddy, Jose, and Reina. After Ramon\'s death in 1999, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio to live with her granddaughter Kathy, grandson-in-law Richard, daughter Reina, Kathy\'s newborn, Connor, and soon after, Kathy\'s newborn daughter Lauren. There she spent 21 more wonderful years of her life, constantly surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her 2 living children, Freddy and Reina, as well as 3 grandchildren (Kathy, Karen, and Karla) and 8 great-grandchildren (Connor, Lauren, Mason, Jordan, Morgan, Alex, Zachary, Olivia). She lived a long and happy life devoted to Christ and family. She will be dearly missed and the impact she had will never be forgotten.
