ElMoris J. Holder, 57, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed on September 23, 2021. ElMoris was born on October 10, 1963. Mr. Son of the late Simon Anderson and Jimmie Ann Holder in Montezuma, Georgia. He attended the public schools of Macon County and was a graduate of Macon County Training School. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Brown Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member. At Brown Chapel, he served faithfully as Father of the Church, member of the Missionary Ministry, and head of the Men’s Committee.
ElMoris was an active member of the Macon County Ministers Widowers Alliance, Macon County Retired Teachers and Associates, and Macon County AARP. As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many. His Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that he loved so well, and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew his. He quietly departed this life Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Teaxas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth,, TX. He was preceded in death by his son, Tyrone Anderson-Holder, and brother, James Anderson.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Kadijsha-Cerise Anderson-Holder, and Kendrick-Dwight Anderson-Holder of Jacolby-Dwayne Anderson-Holder & Christopher-Richard Anderson-Holder. 5 grandchildren: Kendell (Dell) Anderson, Dashella Anderson-Kennedy, Dareel Anderson, Love-Cerise Austin, Kenlyn Ames. Aswell as two great grandchildren; brother, Billy (Delois) Journey of Atlanta, GA; brothers-in-id Larry and Williet C. Thomas; sister-in-law, Dollie L.West; aunts and uncles: Clifford Brown of Montezuma, GA, Lottie Mae Brown and Mary Lizzie Brown of Marshallville, GA, Bernice Brown of Miami, Florida, and Ophelia Larry of Henderson, GA; devoted family members: Mary Louise (Reverend Hosie) Waters, Annie Ruth Bowman Brown, and Shirley Brown; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
