Donna Smith, beloved mother, grandmother, and all-around fabulous lady, passed away on May 30, 2024 in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

Donna was born on November 22, 1958, and spent her younger years studying at Normandy High School. She graduated in 1976 and went on to pursue higher education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She was blessed with a lovely son, Cornelius Wade, in a union with Henry Wade Jr. Despite her busy schedule, Donna always made time for her favorite hobby - caring for her two adorable grandchildren, Cornelius Jr and Chaznine, who brought so much joy and laughter into her life.

Donna was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and love for a good bargain. She could always be found scouring the sales racks for the best deals, much to the chagrin of her family members who were often embarrassed by her bargain-hunting antics. But Donna never shied away from being herself, and her quirky charm endeared her to all who knew her. She also had a serious side, which was shown in the way she cared for her grandkids, not letting anybody interrupt the time she spent with them.

Her passing leaves a hole in the hearts of those who loved her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. As we say goodbye to Donna, we remember her with fondness and laughter, knowing that she brought so much joy to those around her.

Rest in peace, Donna. Your infectious personality and loving spirit will be dearly missed.
