On June 13th, 1958 Donna Raye Green was born to Betty R. Green and the late Raymond Murray. Donna grew up and lived in the Washington DC Area where she attended DC public schools. Later Donna went on to marry Artis Burns and Conceived one child.

Throughout Donna’s early years on earth she became known to many as ‘Ma Donna.’ Donna literally put all her energy and focus on raising her one son and her two step sons from her husband’s previous marriage. 

Along with the raising her three children Donna enjoyed working for the government where she held her position for 27 years. In which she was forced to retire when she fell ill. Donna worked tirelessly with her community and Baptist church always putting the Lord first; Something she instilled in her three boys. 

In her down time Donna loved to travel, read ,cook and enjoyed the good company of friends and family.

Donna and Artis moved the family to Florida in the mid 90s and moved back for a brief stent.

She and Artis eventually divorced. With her boys all grown she decided to move to Florida for good where she lived out the last seven years of a beautiful life.
