Donald W. Motz, 72, of Rittman, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2021. Donald was born on May 20, 1949. He was adopted by Gregory (Abeula) Motz, of Rittman, Ohio in 1951. Donald was a proud U.S. Military Veteran, who served our country for five years. He was employed for 30 years as a stockbroker. He enjoyed fishing, watching football with his grandsons, and spending time with his dog, Cheeto. He was also a cancer survivor, who had been in remission for almost five years. Donald leaves behind his two sons, Bryan (Carrie) Motz, and Lindsey (Marissa) Motz. And multiple grandchildren, cousins, and beloved friends. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private memorial service will take place on Thursday, December 30th. A private burial with full military honors will be held in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in January by invitation of family only. The Motz family would like to thank Clarissa Hutchinson of Rittman, for providing our beloved Donald excellent hospice care for over a year.
