Rverend Donald Vance Ford, 63, of Kingsport, passed on August 16, 2022 after suffering a brief illness. Donnie was born on July 13, 1959 and resided in Kingsport for the duration of his life. He was an employee of City of Kingsport water department where he retired after 25 years of serice. At the time of his death, Donnie was currently serving as pastor of The Way Home Holiness Church and working at The Sullivan County Highway Department. Donnie enjoyed coon hunting, fishin and sharing the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by paternal and maternal grandparent Bijah and Betsy Mae Mowdy, Elijah and Lottie Ford, parents Virgina and Elijah "Junior" Ford, brothers Dennis "Dennie" and David Ford Along with several aunts and uncles. Deceased Wife Rose Mary Ford. Left to cherish his memory is wife April, Daughter Kristie, grandchildren Ashlyn, Jenna, Addie, Noah, Kaysen, Jayson, and Oaklynn. Brothers Doug (Debbie) Ford; Dannie (Tina) Ford; sister Debbie (Ed) Temple; special nephew Matthew (McKenzie) along with several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Thursday August 18, 2022. Funeral at 7 with Brother Mark Willis officiating. Burial will be Friday at 10 at Snyder Memorial Gardens. Family and friends attending are asked to meet at the Cemetery at 9:45.
