It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dewayne Smith, who was born on December 3, 1975 and passed away on February 10, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
Dewayne was the beloved son of Willie and Jessie Smith. He was married to his loving spouse, Smith, for 20 years to Felicia and together they had a wonderful daughter named Imani, who is also survived by her spouse, Smith.
Dewayne studied at Chicago Vocational Career Academy High School and graduated in 1993. He had a passion for fishing and could often be found by the water with a fishing rod in hand, enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors.
He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren.
Dewayne will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
