Oct. 28, 1953 - Jan. 13, 2017 Dennis Anthony Silva of Woodland, born on Oct. 28, 1953 passed away Jan. 13, with his daughters and loved ones by his side. Dennis is survived by Jeanette Silva; his children, Kristin, Dana (Brian) and grandson, Ellis. He leaves behind his mother, Norma; siblings, Peggy, Del, Debbie, Jerry, Gene and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Delbert Silva, Sr., and sister, Vicki. Dennis loved his daughters more than anything and enjoyed becoming a grandpa this past year. He loved holidays and spending time with his family. He had the best sense of humor and lovingly had many nicknames for his family. He loved music, dancing, motorcycles, watching movies and car races, and outdoor sports, especially fishing in the Bay Area and Sacramento and American River. He started playing disc golf a few years back in Woodland's Fern Park where he enjoyed being outdoors, and made many friends that he cherished. Dennis, Denny, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Denny will be deeply missed by all whose hearts he touched, and there are many.
