DeMarco Saunders age 60 was born on July 5, 1959 to Melvin Gordon and Mttie Strong in Columbus, Ohio.  He went home to be with the Lord on Friday October 11, 2019.

As a life long resident of Columbus,Ohio was age 9 before becoming a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

He was previously employed by the State of Ohio at the State Fairgrounds for numerous years before his illness.

His hobbies were eating, fishing, and watching movies. He was a devoted OSU Buckeye and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

DeMarco was preceded in death by his father Melvin Gordon and mother Mattie Strong, brother Anton M. Saunders. 

DeMarco leaves to cherish his memory three sons Taj T. Saunders, DeMarco Teon Saunders, Bajudon L. Saunders. Daughter Talisa M. (Lamonte) Benberry all of Columbus, Ohio.  Brother Howard Wilson, Vincent C. (Francine) Wilson both of Columbus,Ohio. Brother Michael Saunders and sister Gail L. Saunders both of South Bend, Indiana. Sister Robin Braxton of Litkonig, Georgia. His partner of 15 years Harriett "Butta " Smith of Columbus, Ohio. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
