Delores Scipio
Delores (Allender) Scipio, 90, of Baltimore, died at 1:27 AM, Monday, January 20, 2020 at Autumn Health Care in Washington, DC. She was born Tuesday, June 24, 1930, in Baltimore, Md the daughter of Emory and Pearl (Barnett)Allender. She married Walter J. Scipio in 1948 and was a member of Baker Street Church of God.  In addition to her husband of the home, Delores is survived by seven children: Ron & Lynetta Scipio & Doug Scipio both of Zanesville; Faith Scipio of Baltimore, MD; Rosanna Scipio of Canton; Carla & Kenny Burke, Randy Scipio and Paula Scipio all of Zanesville; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister: Retha Green of Canton, two brothers: Kermit Allender of Canton and Jackie Allender of Barnett Ridge; many nieces and nephews including a special niece: Linda Lou Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters: Emma Rogers, Maxine Mayle, Joseline Ramsey, Margaret Riberio, Nellie Turner and David Allender.Visitation will be 6 - 8 PM, Thursday, January 23, at  Stewart Funeral Home Washington, DC and one hour prior to funeral services at the church. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, January 24 with Rev.Josephine Hill officiating.
