Della E. (Owen) Smith passed away at her home in Ellensburg on May 6, 2013, at the age of 93. She was the daughter of Mr. Ewell R. and Dora (Miller) Owen and was born on January 6, 1920, in Beaver County, Oklahoma. She moved to Ellensburg in 1937 and graduated from Ellensburg High School in 1938. She married Wayne Smith on October 30, 1939, in Yakima, Washington, and lived the rest of her life in Ellensburg. She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Gale A. Gladson. She is survived by one sister, one daughter and three sons, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter and many nephews and nieces.The funeral will be held at 1:00pm Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Steward & Williams Tribute Center at 301 East Third Avenue, Ellensburg, Washington.
