DeGray MosserDeGray Mosser, 98, passed away at his home at Gracemont Senior Living in Cumming, Georgia on April 10, 2017. He was born on October 4, 1918 in Newark, NJ and grew up in Pequannock, NJ along with three brothers. DeGray worked, for a time, as a motorcycle stunt rider - stage name "Lucky Kelly from Hollywood, California" - in Kotchman's Cavalcade of Thrills circa late 1930s. He married Sylvia (née Bunton) Mosser in 1944 in Wayne, NJ and was drafted into the military during WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist's Mate, 3rd Class. During his service, he was awarded the Victory Ribbon, Commendation Ribbon, and the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with 5 stars. DeGray and Sylvia lived in Wayne, Haskell, and Midvale, NJ, where they raised four children, DeGray, Melinda, Aleta and Mona. Sylvia died on July 23, 1977. DeGray later married Frances (née Bialy) Mosser in 1982 and had three daughters and later lived in Spring Hill, Florida. Fran died on July 6, 2002. DeGray is survived by his devoted daughters Melinda (née Mosser) (Jerry) Fink, Aleta (née Mosser) Zanes, Mona Lee Mosser, Mary (née Mosser) (Josh) Dowell, Katherine Mosser, and Megan (née Mosser) (Kai) Borden; daughter-in-law Terrill Jo (née Henry) Mosser; his loving grandchildren Jolee Zanes, Damon John (Erin) Kelly, Joseph Zanes, Robert (Stephanie) Kelly, Sylvia Mosser, Chelsea Mosser, Michael (Larissa) Kelly, Matthew Kaprat; Mackenzie, Riley, and Wesley Dowell; Xavier and Briana Borden; great-grandchildren Joseph and Ella Dischiavi, Maria Kelly, Robert Kelly, Jr., Aidan Kelly, Brenna Kelly, Maeve Kelly, and Kiera Kelly. The family greeted friends during visitation services on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 1- 3 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia; with funeral service from 3- 4 p.m. A military burial took place on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Georgia.
