Cheryl Azore, 82, of Lafayette, Louisiana, passed on July 05, 2022. Debbra was born on January 01, 1940.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church for Cheryl Azore, 82, who died July 05, 2022, at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.

Services will be conducted by Father Anthony “Tony” Anala, SVD.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, William Azore; two children, Tawana (James) Hopkins, and Montrell M. Azore of Lafayette, LA: seven grandchildren, Melionie Hopkins, Montrell Hopkins, Christin Azore, James Jr., Isaiah Hopkins, Elijah Azore, and Fayden; two brothers, Raymond (Theresa) Christian of Lafayette, LA, and Steve Christian of San Antonio, TX; two sisters, Joann Toliver and Leslie (Douglas) Davison of Houston, TX; sisters-in-law, Linda (Felix) Fontenette, Phyllis Azore, Darlene Martin, and Vanessa (Daniel) Veazie, of Lafayette, LA; brother-in-law, Oscar Azore of Lafayette, LA; Uncle, Lumus Dennis of Lafayette, LA; Aunt, Shirley Mouton of Lafayette, LA; Godchild, Sierra Smith, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Doris Christian; brother, Donald Christian; sister-in-law, Agnes Azore; brother-in-law, Reginald Azore; niece, Pia Jones; and nephews, Andre Christian, and Preston Broussard.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 10, 2022, at Syrie Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.

All those in attendance must wear a mask or face covering.
