Darrel Washington, born on March 5, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on January 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Darrel was the beloved son of Robert and Carlisa Washington. In 2002, he married the love of his life, Shayla, and together they raised two wonderful children, Desire Fernandez (spouse Gerald Fernandez) and Kyra Roberts (spouse David Roberts).
Darrel dedicated many years of his life to his work at Councilor, where he made numerous lasting friendships before retiring in 2020.
Known for his infectious laughter and positive attitude, Darrel will be remembered by all who knew him as a loving husband, father, and friend. He will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
