Dana Mae Jackson, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed on March 02, 2022. Dana Mae was born on January 18, 1950.

Dana Mae was born on Jan. 18 1950 to Ruthie and Albert Lee. After Dana Mae graduated from high school, she went on to become a nurse.

In 1974 Dana Mae met Tip Jackson. Dana Mae and Tip went on to have 4 children. Sharon, Dennis, Anthony, Michelle

In 2014 Dana Mae retired and spent her time mostly caring for her children and grandchildren.

Dana Mae was preceeded in death by Tip Jackson, Ruthie Lee, Albert Lee and Antonio Jackson. She is survived by her children Sharon Hammond, Dennis Jackson, Michelle Jackson. Her grandchildren Damon Hammond, Micheal Jackson, Ya'Shawn Jackson, Davonte Hammond, Chante Jackson and Benitria Flores. Along with a large host of 15 great-grand children, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be held at on Saturday, March 13 at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association an organization felt strongly about by the family.
