Damien Donye' Demus [aka Bigeyes]passed away unexpected at the age of 42, on May 10, 2022 at Washington Hospital Center, with his devoted wife, Tamika Demus, at his side. Damien was born on May 2, 1980 in Washington D.C.Eventhough he was only on this earth for a short time, he will always be remembered by all his family and friends. Damien had a sense of humor that lit up a room, he had his own stuff going on but he was always there for the people he loved when it mattered the most.

Damien is survived by his father Sylvester Demus Sr. and his mother Sheena Makle [deceased]. He has multiple siblings Valencia Barcliff, Michael Saunders [deceased], Sheena Makle, Sylvester Demus Jr., Theresa Makle, Warren Makle, Sherrita Mullen, Teresa Williams, Dewayne Schembri, Jenelle Mullen, Terrence Demus and Malcolm Demus. Damien is also survived by his beautiful wife of 18 years, Tamika Demus. Eventhough we were not blessed with children togetherwe had six wonderful children and a load of grandchildren Joseph Matthews Sr. [Joseph Jr. and Jakel], Damien Kay [Sariyah and Desiree'], Johonn Matthews, Donyasha Kay [Baby Deon], JoMiah Matthews and Deon Kay [deceased]. Damien also has a lot of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him so much.

The Loss of A Loved Family Member

My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news, It never occured to me how much I could lose, I find myself wishing that it wasn't real, Everytime I think about it, pain is all I can feel, Tears fall from my eyes, I can barely see, But my heart tells me that you'll always be with me, I am glad you feel no more pain, Damien, you are in a perfect land, Filled with caring, sharing, and love, So I will always dream and remember you always.

I miss your face, I miss your smile, I wish i could see you once in a while,
