Compassionate, Loving, and Selfless

A life well lived... It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Corey A. Brown. A natural leader, Corey always tried to see and bring out the best in everyone. A guardian to those he loved, he often put himself last. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Corey knew he was of great support to his community and enjoyed helping those young and old. He often said his time was his greatest asset, an asset he'd share willingly without fail. Although short, his life was filled with hard work, accomplishments, family and plenty of laughs. Under that tough exterior was a man you could count on and was loved by many. Predeceased by his mother Jo-Anne who was Corey's guiding light, the woman responsible for his gentle and loving character, his father Kurt, a proud father that taught his son to work hard, to stay humble, and always fight for those you love . Sister, Nicki who inspired Corey to pursue his passions, always having the right words of encouragement. Brother-in-law Cory (Nicki), always a friend who he could share a laugh with, allowing Corey to speak his mind without judgement. FAVOURITE Niece and Nephew Ellie and Lincoln, dear to Corey's heart, wanting the very best - a wise uncle who was a great listener, teacher, but also a "silly guy" who enjoyed making them laugh. They miss him already! Uncle Boyd, Uncle Shawn, Aunt Julie, Aunt Elaine, Aunt Jacque, and grandmothers Charlotte, and Carolyn. Family meant everything to Corey, often dropping everything at a moments notice for his loved ones, helping all of them a time or two with anything they called on him for. "Taz" was everything a young man could be and more, he gave so much to everyone without fail, as he will continue to do from his new home. He wanted to thank an anonymous individual for making his time better for a short time, an apology to you for the hardships you faced, a promise that he will hold you in his heart forever, your memory in his final thoughts, the girl he dreamed about. "Farewell, I will always be your guardian angel."
