On December 31, 2025, we said goodbye to a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Cora McCauley. Born on February 5, 1957 in Clemson, South Carolina, Cora was the daughter of Devoid McCauley and Ruby Brown McCauley.

Cora leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, as well as two children, Shawn Barksdale (spouse Shena) and Angela Wilson. She was also adored by her 7 grandchildren.

She attended Carver High School and graduated with flying colors. Cora had a passion for gospel music, bowling, skating, and softball. Her joyful spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all those around her.

Cora's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace.
