It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Rogers, a beloved father, husband, and member of the Atlanta community. Christopher was born on August 19, 1992, to Anthony Roger and Lisa Turner in Atlanta, Georgia. He departed this world on November 22, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
In 2019, Christopher married the love of his life, Alyssa Meadows, and together they raised two beautiful children, Shaneice Rogers and Christopher Rogers Jr. He was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first.
Christopher attended Crim High School and graduated in 2010. He was an active member of the community, volunteering his time to coach little league football and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential. His passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, was evident in everything he did.
Christopher lived life to the fullest, always seeking new adventures and experiences. His infectious smile and kind heart touched the lives of everyone he met. He will be remembered for his unwavering positivity, his love for his family, and his dedication to making the world a better place.
Tragically, Christopher's life was cut short by gun violence, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. While we mourn his loss, we celebrate the incredible person he was and the impact he had on those around him.
Rest in peace, Christopher Rogers. Your light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew you.
