Schmuhl, ChristinaChristina E. Schmuhl, age 81, of Brandon, WI, passed away on February 23, 2017, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.Christina was born on February 21, 1936, the daughter of Michael and Catherine (Heschel) Bernath. She graduated from Brandon High School. On June 23, 1956, she married Earl Schmuhl at St. Brendans Church in Brandon. Christina worked at Dun and Bradstreet and also at Webster's Bakery in Ripon. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church also in Ripon, and the Altar Society in Brandon. Christina enjoyed sitting in the backyard, watching birds, camping, traveling, going to the theater, and also loved to read and cook.Christina is survived by her husband, Earl; her sons: Kurt (Arlene) Schmuhl of Oshkosh, WI, Jeffery Schmuhl of Eden, WI, Kevin (Faye) Schmuhl of Brandon, WI, and Todd (Karla) Schmuhl of Brandon, WI; five grandchildren, Cory and Katie, Natasha and Carissa, and Kea; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Tony Bernath of Ripon. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and a brother.A visitation for Christina will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, 54971, and again from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Reverend Robert A. Fictum officiating.
