1954 ~ 2016Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on October 31, 2016, from a long hard fought battle with prostate cancer. He was born on November 15, 1954, to Beth N. and Merrill "Rube" Archibald. Charlie was raised in Magna, UT where he met many life long friends. Charlie was loved by many for his instant charm and willingness to accept everyone. Because of his loving personality he gained many lifelong friendships which he held very dear. Charlie enjoyed going camping, fishing, golfing, anything his friends had planned he was a willing adventure buddy. Grandpa Charlie loved seeing his grandkids grow up, going to any event they had planned. He was a known story teller and could captivate any audience with his stories of adventure and mischief. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roger and Greg Corless, and best friend Joel Peterson. He is survived by his loving wife Lareana Lyn Archibald; children Ryan (Kristal) and Tiffany Archibald; Grandchildren Kaeli, Mitchell, Sierra and Anastasia.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at 4270 Falcon Street (4145 West) West Valley City, UT. Condolences will be received for 1 hour prior to services.
