February 3, 1988 - November 9, 2016Charles "Charlie" Naylor Moulton, age 28, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Austin, Texas. He was born on February 3, 1988 in San Antonio, Texas, to his parents, Richard "Rick" Moulton and Susan Naylor Morton.Charlie had a passion for reading, his favorite author was Haruki Murakami. Charlie loved to spend time writing short stories, and poems. Charlie is best described as an old soul, who craved simplicity, honesty, and his alone time in small spaces. He was an honest man, who was very compassionate, especially to the homeless. Known for always stopping at any given corner to help those in need, whether it be giving his last dollar, or the shirt off his back.Charlie was a rebel, free spirit, and nurturing soul. In April of 2016, he moved to Eugene, Oregon, where he met his love, Olivia Larson. Upon moving he was able to further explore his love of the world around him including working in the woods, camping, and gardening.He was preceded in death by his brother, Will Naylor Smith; grandparents, B. Naylor Morton, Betty Jo Crocker; and cousin, Morgan Crocker.Charles is survived by his father, Rick Moulton; also by his mother, Susan Moulton whom he wanted so much to take care of and be her source of strength; aunts, Sarah Crocker, Sissy Ledlow (Buster); uncle, Bubba Crocker (Cindy); cousins, Jake and Dustin Ledlow, Nancy, Sarah, Aiko, Momo, and Dr. David Morton (Kyoko); best friends, Rex Robinson, William, and Robert Weldon, who were like brothers to him; and many, many, many good friends and acquaintances who adored him and recognized his depth of character.Charlie will be remembered as a free spirit who walked to the beat of his own drum, loving life, living to the fullest, and always dancing on the edge.SERVICETUESDAY,NOVEMBER 15, 20163:00 PMDON STRANGE RANCH103 WARING WELFARE RD.BOERNE, TX 78006Charlie will be laid to rest next to his brother at Memory Lawn Memorial Park, Martindale, TX on Wednesday, November 16th at 11:00 A.M.You are invited to signthe Guestbook at www.porterloring.comArrangements with
