“But as for you, go on to the end. You will rest, but you will stand up for your lot at the end of the days.” ....

On July 5th 2022, Charles “Carlos” Lawrence Pintard passed away peacefully in his home in Stockton, CA surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Charles was born on September 24th 1959 in Kankakee, IL to parents Dolores and Charles E Pintard. From age 8, Charles spent his childhood in Mexico, returning to the United States at age 26. Living in Mexico gave him a perspective of the world and culture that would form the rest of his life and influence the most intimate relationships he would have with his loving wife, his best friends, and brothers and sisters in faith.
In 1985, Charles met his future wife, Martha. They fell in love and had many wonderful adventures together over 36 years of marriage, always keeping their focus on each other and their future. They built their life together with a focus on family, friends, and a strong, unwavering love of Jehovah God.

Charles was a good son, husband, father, grandfather, teacher, counselor, friend, and faithful servant of Jehovah God. Through his dedicated wife, Carlos came to know the truth and his faith was so strong that he came to serve as an elder at the Las Huertas congregation in Stockton, CA. Carlos served with devotion to Jehovah and his brothers and sisters in the congregation, treating everyone with respect, compassion, and above all, modeling Jehovah’s love towards his children.

Charles lived his life with compassion, empathy, strong core principles and humor. He loved to laugh, dance, and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a caring voice of reason in an otherwise chaotic world and he led his family to be the best they could be. Those who knew him, loved him deeply.

He is survived by his loving wife, Martha and his children, Jorge, Gustavo (Krisnna), Evelyn, Christina (David), and grandchildren Ruth, Andy, Nataly, Natalia, Karelly, Stephania, Reily, Clariss, Micheal, and Sophia. His never ending love was so strong that many others who call him “papá” and “grandpa”, join in celebrating the life of this amazing man. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, loving mother-in-law whom he referred to as “Mamá María”, and his nieces and nephews.
