Charlene DAMON , 62 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away peacefully in her sleep in her family home on Saturday , July 23rd. Charlene was born on February 25 , 1960 to her mother, Agatha Anderson and her father, William Damon. Her father unfortunately passed away early in her life, so Charlene was raised by her mother alone, whom she loved with all of her heart. Charlene excelled in everything she did; she did exceptional in school then went on to university and made her mother and two older siblings proud when she received a Bachelor’s degree in education. At the age of 30, she married her high school sweetheart, Mark Lisner, and they spent a further 20 years happily married and started a beautiful life together. Charlene spent just over 18 years working at a local pre school and was loved and adored by all her pupils, proving to be a wonderful teacher and friend to all her students. When she retired , she then decided to start to quilting and creating lovely art for all her loved ones. Charlene had a passion for jazz music and often went to concerts and shows whenever she could, to hear her all-time favorite music artists. Charlene was an active and caring woman who spent most of her life thinking about others. She always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved. She is survived by her daughter and son her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service held for Charlene on July 25th at York park to embrace her love for nature. Please feel free to attend if you would like to pay your respects.
