Oh Cassandra Marie, as beautiful as one can be. Taken too soon from this world. Cassie was born and raised in Pacifica California, a small town by the ocean. She went to Cabrillo elementary, and Terra Nova high school class of 2002. After high school, she wanted to gain some real world experience, she wasn't sure where her life was taking her. She always knew she wanted to help people. So after graduation she did a volunteer trip with her church to a very small and poor village in Africa. That trip changed her. I think it ultimately broke her heart. But it opened her eyes, she knew how to help people. She loved the feeling it gave her. She then went on to study nursing, graduating from UC Davis in 2008. During her time in nursing school, she got to travel and learn new ways to help people. Cassie was the most honest and generous person I've ever met. She cared more about others happiness then her own. She always lived life to the fullest, had the greatest sense of adventure. Whether she was just taking a hike on the beach, going on a bike ride around the city or going off road driving in her jeep Cherokee, she always made the most of it. Anyone who knew her, would agree she was full of love for everyone and everything. Not only in her job as a nurse, she would also volunteer at animal rescues and the SPCA, donating her time and compassion for nothing other than the love of helping people. Cassie was a wonderful mother, friend, wife, sister and aunt. she leaves behind a wonderful husband of five years, Mark, and their two beautiful children Samantha and Grayson, her sister Tia, her two brothers Michael and Samuel, and her nieces and nephews which she loved like her own children. Emilie, Sarah, Mackenzie, Brianna, Melissa, Jameson, Kelsey and Evan. Cassie, you are loved and missed more than you'll ever know. This world will not be the same without your laugh, your smile, the way you always made the best out of any situation, and the love you felt for all of us.  We lost a genuinely good person who cared about the world around her, and tried so hard to be the best person she could be. Gone but never forgotten. We will never forget everything you've done for not only our family, but what you've done for the community, and all the people you've helped during your years as a nurse. I hope your beautiful soul rests in peace. You are gone, but your accomplishments and your passion for what you do have affected the people around you. Your children will grow up knowing their mom saved people and genuinely cared about all beings. We are all lucky to have known you and to have loved you. You will forever remain humble and beautiful in our eyes.
