Carrie Funches (bay-bay), 64, of Lima, Ohio passed on October 21, 2021. Carrie was born on May 21, 1957. in Chicago, Illinois to M.C. Wilson and Ceola Wilson. Carrie whom was a twin, was the third born of six children.

Carrie attended school in Chicago at Shakespear Elementary School, and Dusable High School. In 1976 she married Lewis Funches, 9 beautiful children, 4 girls- Lewanist Wilson, Latonya Funches, Lasheva Funches, Shamice Funches, and 5 boys-Lewis Funches, Larnell Funches, Lonnie Funches, Stephone Cole, And Steven Cole.

Carrie moved to Lima, Ohio in 1998 with her family, she worked at Lima Family YMCA for several years, Mrs. Funches was a very sociable person, great cook, loved to be around her family, soft ball player, volleyball player, she was quite the athlete.

She was proceeded in death by her husband-Lewis Funches, father-M.C. Wilson, twin brother-Terry Wilson, daughter-Shamice Funches, grandson-Dasmine Omosikeji, grand-daughter-Alicia Omosikeji, Sister-Roberta Crawford, nephew-Bushon Funches

Carrie leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother-Ceola Wilson, 3 Daughters Lewanist, Latonya, Lasheva Funches, 5 boys-Lewis (Shawna Glover), Larnell, Lonnie (Tenetta Whiteside) Funches, Stephone, and Steven (Jasmine Springer) Cole, 29 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-Mertice McNeal. Diane Boddy (Harvey Boddy), 2 brothers Maurice and Brian Wilson.

Special sister-Paula, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
