Carmen Bernal Castro, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2015. She was born in San Ignacio, Sinaloa, Mexico and lived the majority of her life in Los Angeles, CA with her husband and three sons.
She was a dedicated and active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Los Angeles, CA and the Women Council of St. Michael's. 
She is survived by her youngest son, Dr. Robert Castro, two daughter-in-laws, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 
In 2003, Carmen moved to San Antonio, Texas and later moved to Salinas, CA. 
The family wishes to thank the staffs at Regent Care in San Antonio (Medical Drive and Blanco Road) and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital for the care rendered. The family specifically wishes to give their appreciation to the staff of Kindred Pacific Coast Care in Salinas, CA for their professional and compassionate attention. 
Visitation will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Struve and Laporte Chapel. 41 W. Luis Street. Salinas CA 93901.
