Carl WisemanROSEVILLE: Carl Jr. Wiseman, 91, of Roseville, passed away on Tue. Apr. 4, 2017 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born on Feb. 20, 1926 in Roseville, a son of the late Carl and Bernice Wiseman. He is survived by one daughter Marcie (Jack) Butterfield. One son Michael (Becky) Wiseman. Siblings Jay (Ellen) Wiseman, Cheryl Rucker, and Leanna Carr. Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jane Wiseman, a sister Mary, and special companion the past 7 years Gladys Smith. Carl served in the United States Navy during World War II, was a part time farmer and retired from Nelson McCoy Pottery after 41 years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Roseville American Legion, served as their commander for several years, and was recently recognized for over 70 years of consecutive membership. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care 713 Forest Ave. Zanesville, Ohio 43701.Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Fri. Apr. 7, 2017 at WILLIAM THOMPSON & SON FUNERAL HOME 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat. Apr. 8, 2017 with Rev. Mark Chow officiating.
