Bonnie Green Young was born January 30, 1936, in Lena, Mississippi to the union of Ollie Mae Nimocks Green and Sam Green Sr. Bonnie was the thirteenth of seventeen siblings and 15 siblings preceded her in death.


Bonnie was educated in the public school system of Forest, Mississippi. After graduating high school in 1953, she relocated to Chicago, Illinois, and later moved to Milwaukee, where she met and married John D. Young Sr in 1961.


Bonnie was a family person that reached out to all needs of family and friends. She was also a sports enthusiast, she loved the Green Bay Packers (Bret Farve) the Milwaukee Bucks, Tennis (Venus and Serena) Golf (Tiger Woods), and Wrestling. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.


Bonnie was employed at John Osters Manufacturing Company, Schlitz Brewery, Wisconsin Gas Company, and M&I Marshall & Isley Bank. Her true passion was being a Caregiver.


Bonnie leaves to cherish her loving daughter Patricia (Jeff) deceased son John D. Young Jr, grandson Larry E Moore Jr. (Tiffany) three great-grandsons Larry E Moore III, Elijah Moore, and Jaylin Moore, and one sister Cremella Cooks.


Bonnie had a low tolerance for injustice toward anyone and was quick to verbalize her feelings, she was very direct in her response. Bonnie was in love with life and she lived it to the fullest viewed as not a threat but a challenge.
