Thompson, Beulah Voneta 97, passed away on September 23 at Regent Park Assisted Living. Beulah was born on April 17, 1919 in Cunningham, KS to Hugh and Julia Glenn. She worked for more than 30 years in the school districts where she held many positions including working in the cafeterias. Beulah was a very active church member and was very close to her church family but her greatest love was her kids, grandkids and great grandkids; she was very family oriented. Beulah is survived by her children Sharon Russell, Gary Thompson(Dell Marie) and Dennis Thompson; numerous grandkids, great grandkids and many other close family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Orman and 13 siblings. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 29 at 10:00 with visitation being held from 9:30 until service time; both at East Point Church of Christ, 747 N. 127th St. East, Wichita with Pastor John Langley presiding. Interment will follow in Bruno Township Cemetery, Andover. Memorial donations may be made to East Point Church of Christ to assist the group that makes bears for the local hospitals.
