Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2016 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. Betty Joyce Hill was born on August 27, 1932 in Dallas, Texas to Brice and Stella (Pendleton) Hill. She married F.D. (Bill) Bagwell on June 15, 1951 in Robert Lee, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of Broadway Baptist Church. The Bagwell's raised thirteen foster children. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Bagwell of Richmond, Texas and Patti Pyles of Overland, Kansas; three grandchildren, Chad Hudgins, Kayce Taylor and Steven Lemen and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, F.D. (Bill) Bagwell, three sisters, Dorothy Calaway, Billie Ply and Emaline Campbell, and two brothers, Knox Hill and George (G.B.) Hill. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
