Betty Jean Fretz (Vogt), 78 years old passed away with her family by her side on Monday, November 28th, 2016. She was born on December 7th,1937 in Elm Creek, Nebraska. Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Al, Sister Bonnie (Dick) of Wheatland, WY, Brother Darrel (Dorothy) of Cheyenne, WY, 4 children, Jim, Dave, Debbie (Randy) and Gail (Paul), 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Nina and her 2 oldest grandsons, Jimmy and Justin. Betty was a loving, caring, gentle, kind soul with a great smile. She enjoyed volunteering at the Broomfield Senior Center once a week, earning her volunteer of the quarter in September of 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of the birds, squirrels, crows and neighborhood kitties. It goes without saying she will be thoroughly missed by so many. Betty's service will be on Monday, December 5th at 12:00pm with a public viewing starting at 11:00am at Rundus Funeral Home - 1998 W. 10th Avenue. Broomfield, CO.
