Bette Kaiserman 1917 - 2016Bette Kaiserman 99, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on October 12, 1917 in Springfield to Harry and Mollie Gralnick Perlmutter. Bette married Louis Kaiserman in Springfield on December 25, 1935 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1975.She is survived by her son Don (Janice) Kaiserman of Orcutt, CA., brother Norman (Jackie) Perlmutter of Springfield, daughter-in-law Rhonda Kaiserman of Quincy, three grandchildren: Jason and Justin Kaiserman and Michele (Eric) Hoffman, two great-grandchildren Kendra Kaiserman and Logan Hoffman, two nephews: Alan and David Perlmutter and one niece Shari Robins. She was preceded in death by her son Herbert Kaiserman and three brothers: Herbert, Nate, and Stanley Perlmutter.Bette graduated from Springfield High School and Brown's Business College. She was a licensed realtor who owned and operated several residential apartments and commercial buildings in the Springfield area. Bette was a Life Member of Temple Israel, Temple Israel Sisterhood, Hadassah and B'nai B'rith.A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Friday November 25, 2016 at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Rabbi Barry Marks officiating. The funeral procession will meet just inside the cemetery main gate on Monument Avenue at 10:45am to process to the gravesite.
