Bernice Scott, 91, passed away peacefully at Kindred-Pacific Coast Care in Salinas on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was born April 2, 1924 in Parlier, CA.

Bernice and Wayne enjoyed traveling frequently in their motor home. They also had taken several cruises and many trips to Hawaii.

Bernice was a Salinas resident for 80 years moving here as a young girl attending local schools. She was retired from Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, Business Office.

Bernice was preceded in death by Wayne, her husband of 50 years. She is survived by her son, Michael (Nancy) Scott, two grandsons and one great grandson.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Bernice's memory to SPCA, 1002 Monterey Salinas Highway, Salinas, Ca. 93908. Alzheimer's Association, 21 Lower Ragsdale Dr. Monterey, CA 93940
