On Jan. 22, 2019, God, in His divine wisdom, called from labor to reward, His servant, Burney Lee of Savannah, Ga.

Barney moved to Newark, N.J. in the early '90s.

Barney is survived by the love of his life, Carlene. He was the devoted father of Maxine (Keith) McNair, Cindy Ross, and Anthony Adams; cherished grandfather of Kile McNair, Ikeemah Lee, Sharon, Samaada, Soraija, Sayyid, and Gladys Ross; great-grandfather of Saleem Ross, and dear and devoted brother/best friend for over 58 years of The Honorable Donald Bradley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family of over 4,000 students, his Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity brothers and many, many friends.

Visitation and praise service is Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, 5 to 9 p.m at Christian Pentecostal Church of Christ, 971 Clinton Ave, Irvington, N.J.
