ANDREW ALOYSIUS SCHANEY, 35 FREEPORT - Andrew Aloysius Schaney, 35 yrs. old, was called to Heaven on Sat. Feb. 21, 2015. He was born on Jun. 12, 1979 in Rockford, a son of Corke C. and Deborah A. (Kuczynski) Schaney. He was a 1997 Graduate of Freeport High School and studied automotive mechanics at Highland Community College. Andrew married Naomi Grabow in Freeport on Jan. 20, 2012. He was a self employed mechanic. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, and Bears fan. Andrew was a loving Father and Uncle and was a great cook. Surviving are his wife, Naomi; his children, Michael, Isis, Aiyana and Sophia; his parents; his sister, Noel (Ryan); three brothers, Matthew (Nicole), Joseph (Skye), and Adam (Heather); his in-laws, Jim and Nancy Grabow; his maternal grandparents, Don and Marie Kuczynski; and many special nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wed. Feb. 25, 2015 at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church, 2525 W. Stephenson St., Freeport, IL. The visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of service. Following the interment at Chapel Memorial Gardens, there will be a memorial luncheon at the Jane Addams Community Center in Cedarville. A memorial has been established in his memory.
