On Tuesday October 31, 2017, at 9:00 pm, at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, God sent his heavenly angel to take our loved, Andrew Byrd, to his eternal home.

Andrew Byrd was born in Baltimore, Maryland, September 13, 1989, to Karen Gibson and Reginald Byrd. Andrew graduated from Patterson High School in the Baltimore City Public School System. Andrew's love for cars led him to North American Trade School where he graduated as a diesel mechanic. Andrew was employed for the last four years with Hertz, which afforded him the opportunity to work and utilize his passion for exploring cars. 

Andrew was a kind and gentle soul that loved his family and friends. He also had a love for hip-hop music (Biggie and Tupac were his favorite artists),video games and good home cooking. Andrew was a father of twin girls, Avery Elizabeth and Rose Mary. His light will live on in their eyes. Andrew was quiet to those who didn’t know him but the joy and laughter he expressed around family and friends was flamboyant and animated.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughters, Avery Elizabeth and Rose Mary Byrd; his mother, Karen; father, Regineald; all his brothers and sisters that love him so much; grandparents, Rosalie and George Byrd; uncles, Elijah and Francis Gibson; three aunts, Gisele Brown, Kelly Gibson and Toya Byrd; a special cousin, Brandon Hopkins; special friend and mother of his children, Christy Phillips; best friend, Daryl; and cousin, Darius; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
