Boonville- On the morning of Thursday, September 26, 2013, Alma Edwards Snow, 100, of Boonville received her wings and went home to be with the Lord. Miss Alma was born on July 3, 1913 to Zoie Blanche Brannock Edwards and Erwin Richard Edwards. She has eight siblings. Miss Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Wade G. Snow of 65 years; two sisters, Leona Blanche Edwards and Virginia Edwards White; five brothers, Thomas, John, James, Dennis, and Joe Edwards.

Miss Alma is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Snow, of Boonville; her sister, Ailene Edwards Badgett of Mt. Airy; nephews, David B. White and Fiance' AnaEve DeConto of Pawley's Island, SC; Dennis (Jean) White of Summerville, SC; John (Christine) Badgett of Mt. Airy and niece, Ann b. (Bill) Stewart of Mt. Airy. She is also survived by her "Adopted" daughter, Lynn Stone and her family, Larry and Julie of Boonville; and Miss Alma's favorite four-legger, Ande'. The family would like to thank two special friends, Betty (Bill) Sizemore and Jean Stewart, all of Boonville, for their love and support. Special thanks also to the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center and the Evercare Nursing Staff. Miss Alma was the oldest living member of Boonville Baptist Church.

Linda welcomed family and friends at 7833 US Hwy 601, Boonville. A graveside service was held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Boonville Cemetery by Rev. Jenny Stewart, officiated.
