Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Allen Anthony Hebert "Coco", age 80, who died at 6:10 PM on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Lafayette. Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Calk Hebert of Scott; three daughters, Pamela Spearman and her husband, James of Houma, Judy Dawes and her husband, Brandon of Lafayette and Amy Hebert of Lafayette; two sons, Allen Hebert, Jr. and his wife, Christie of Bakersfield, CA and Michael Hebert and his wife, Valerie Bolzoni of Lafayette; one step-son, Jonathan Duke of Lafayette; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Hebert and mother, Claudia Babin Hebert; one step-son, J. Lin Duke; four sisters, Ethel Bonvillain, Marion Talbot, Malvin Duet and Claudia "Tootsie" Lottinger; three brothers, Bobby Hebert, Lloyd Hebert and Henry "Tiggy" Hebert. Mr. Hebert was born on September 22, 1936 in Houma, Louisiana. He was a graduate of Terrebonne High School, where he participated in sports and winning many honors and being a very good all-around athlete. Mr. Hebert enjoyed watching football, smoking his cigars, cutting up, loved telling jokes and cooking on the weekends with family and friends. He had so much passion and love for sports, especially football. Mr. Hebert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all and will be truly missed. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
