Jose Ramirez, 47, of Manteca, California, passed on October 5, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. Jose was born on March 18,1976. Jose passed away due to Covid-19. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Jose managed with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by his children Lidia and Jr, who he adored more than anything else in the world.

Jose was such a hard working man. He put his family first and those who knew him will remember him for his green thumb. He worked in landscaping. He had a strong love for plants and flowers. It was a hobby of his and he loved it so much that he wanted to work in that feild. His co-workers said that he would come into work every day with the biggest smile on his face and always showed up in the best mood. He was able to make others smile and had such a strong impact on everyone. Jose had the ability to turn someone's day around. His energy was very uplifting and a simple conversation with him would make your day better. One of his biggest accomplishments was being a father. He had always wanted children and he considered himself lucky enough to have two. His children Lidia and Jr called their dad a hero. He was always there for them through their ups and downs and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.

Covid-19 took away a loving father and friend to many. A service will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, at 1:00pm at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery on 719 E Harding Way, Stockton CA 95204. May his soul Rest in Paradise. We will carry your memory in our hearts.
