Alan Vern Yoder, 66, of Salinas passed away on Sunday August 9, 2015. He was born August 1, 1949 in Salinas, CA.

Mr. Yoder served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as SP6 and was awarded Sharpshooter and Marksmanship Medals.

He was a mechanic for 30 years at International Paper Company.

Mr. Yoder enjoyed riding his Harley, shooting down range, watching movies, and listening to Christian music station K-LOVE as he drove to work every day. 

Mr. Yoder is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Linda Marie Ruiz Yoder, daughters Kira Sadorra with husband Dion, Amy Thompson with husband Chris, Melissa Valdez with husband Leo, Linda Lopez with husband Albert; As well as 2 brothers Britt Yoder and Cleve Yoder. 
Mr. Yoder leaves behind 11 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

He will be missed dearly by his loving Wife, Family, and Friends.
