Adam Gonzales Obituary

Mar 21, 1963 - Jan 22, 2016

This obituary is administered by:
ODESSA - Adam "La Mancha" Gonzales Jr., 53, of Odessa, TX, went on to be with our Lord and savior Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Odessa Regional Medical Center, in Odessa, Texas. Adam was born on March 21st, 1963 in Odessa, Texas to Adam and Francis Montoya Gonzales. Adam was an independent contract welder for over 20 years of his career and had the uncanny ability to weld absolutely anything you placed in front of him. He loved what he did and loved sharing his knowledge with others in the science of metallurgy. He was also a hands on mechanic and in short a Jack of all trades with the "Midas touch." He loved to stay busy whether it was at home or at someone else's residence helping repair any and everything that could go wrong in a house or a vehicle. Adam was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys who would watch every single game with an unequivocal passion. There was never a moment that you could catch him wearing anything that didn't have some type of Dallas Cowboys memorabilia on it. But the most amazing quality that defined the man that was Adam Gonzales, was that no matter how bad a situation could be, he always made it his personal priority to get you through it, get you back on your feet, and make you feel at peace at any hour of the day or night. He knew how to glean laughter out of tribulation. Adam is survived by beloved family, his loving wife Dora Gonzales of 28 years, his loving mother Francis, three loving sons, Anthony Gonzalez and girlfriend Irma Aldape, Eric Gonzales and girlfriend Rachel Banuelos, Isaac Gonzales and girlfriend Kassandra Payen, one loving daughter, Natalie Gonzales and boyfriend Josh Puente, one loving granddaughter, Destinee Carrasco. He is also survived by four brothers Robert Joe Gonzales Sr and Rita Castillo and his two sons Robert Gonzales Jr., and Timothy Roy Gonzales, Jaime Gonzales and wife Gloria Gonzales, and their two daughters Jennifer Gonzales and Kristian Gonzales, Joel Gonzales and wife Joann Gonzales, and their two sons Christopher Joel Gonzales and Matthew Gonzales, Javier and wife Iris Gonzales, and their children Jerimiah Gonzales, Ilena Carrasco, and Jovan Gonzales, and a plethora of great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and his fur babies, Ziggy, Fluffy, and Baby all from Odessa, Texas.
