Yolanda Suhajda1937 - 2014Yolanda Suhajda, 77, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday May 27, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Yolanda was born on March 4, 1937 in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Louis and Sophie (Bilik) Verba. She was educated in the schools of Chicago. She married Arthur Suhajda Sr. on March 3, 1957 in Chicago. Yolanda was employed at Marshall Fields & Macys throughout the years. She was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church. Her hobbies included working, taking trips up to northern Wisconsin, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her children, Yolanda (Thomas) Van Oost Sr., Arthur (Denise) Suhajda Jr., Joseph (Carole) Suhajda; her mother, Sophie Verba; a brother, Richard (Patricia) Verba; and 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Jerry) Masek, Shannon Suhajda, Thomas C. Van Oost Jr., William Rocky Van Oost, Rebecca A. Suhajda, and Arthur L. Suhajda III. A visitation will be held (TODAY) Wednesday May 28, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4-8 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday May 29, 2014, at St. Mark Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Entombment 2 p.m. at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.
