HERRMANNWilly Willy Herrmann, 87, of Point Place, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Genesis Point Place. He was born on August, 8, 1929 to Otto and Hedwig (Wilhelm) Herrmann.Willy was a member of RiverPoint Ministries United Methodist Church. He was also an avid Buckeye fan. In his youth, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, and stock car racing. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Shirley Herrmann; daughters, Sandy (Mike) Faylor and Kristi (Rob) Filipovich; “adopted” daughter, Barb Jagielski, aka “George”; very special grandsons, Brandon and Brett Filipovich; and many nieces and nephews. Willy was preceded in death and will be greeted by his parents; daughter, Debbie Herrmann; and brothers, Kurt (Geraldine) and Robert (Eleanor) Herrmann.Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2016  from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo OH 43611. Funeral services begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the funeral home.
