William J. DiGirolamo1925 - 2013William J. Bill DiGirolamo, 88, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at his residence.He was born on July 22, 1925, to the late Quirino and Mary DiGirolamo in Chicago. He graduated with a B.S.E.E. June 1955 from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.Bill entered the Army/Air Corp and was honorably discharged.Bill married Betty Durrand in 1953 in Chicago and she preceded him in death on Nov. 16, 2002.Bill worked as an Engineer for many years at Sunbeam and Northern Electric. Bill loved walking through the Botanical Gardens with his wife, crossword puzzles, enjoyed going out to eat, telling jokes and stories.Bill is survived by his loving son Todd L. (Sandra) DiGirolamo of Pleasant Prairie and his loving grandchildren Stephanie and Alec.He is preceded in death by his son Perry, his sister Adeline and his brother Tom.Funeral Services for Bill will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 p.m. (Noon) until the time of service.
