William Frederick Paetzold1930-2016William "Bill" F. Paetzold passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the age of 86. He was born on March 14, 1930, to Albert and Ada Paetzold in Wheeling, West Virginia. Bill served in the U.S. Navy for four years, then went to West Virginia University. He spent his working career in the oil patch here and overseas. Upon retirement, he enjoyed working with wood in his workshop. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Albert Paul Paetzold.He is survived by his wife, Bobbi; daughter, Karen and her husband Jens; granddaughter, Danica and her husband Rasmus; great grandson, Sylvester; step-children, Lisa Thomas and her husband David, and David Sims and his wife Jen; step-grandchildren, Grey, Cole, Jake and Wyatt.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway.
