William F. McHenryAGE: 78 • HazletWilliam F. McHenry, 78, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. William was born on May 25, 1938 in Jersey City, where he grew up and attended James J. Ferris HS. On April 4, 1970, William married his beloved wife, Margaret, better known as Peggy, and they started their life together in Cliffwood Beach. A few years later, they settled in Hazlet to raise their family. William had a 40 year career in communications electronics working for WorldCom, MCI and most notably Western Union for over 20 years. He was currently retired.He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Olga McHenry, and his brother-in-law, Bob Holzapfel. William is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy McHenry, his children, Craig W. McHenry and his wife, Tetine Sentell, of Honolulu, HI, and Jeannine McHenry and her husband, Anthony Vito Fiore, of Hermosa Beach, CA. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Trimboli and her husband, Sal, Barbara Holzapfel, Jim McHenry and his wife, Barbara, Hank McHenry, and Mike McHenry and his wife, Maureen, along with his grandchildren, Linden and Maile McHenry, and Enzo Fiore, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.In respect of William's wishes, he will be privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sat., March 25th from 10AM to 12PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Hwy/Rt 35 N, Hazlet. William's family invites all attending his memorial service to please feel free to dress in fun, casual clothing, in reflection of William's fun and positive personality, in celebration of his life.
