William "Bill" E. CladySYCAMORE: William "Bill" E. Clady, age 73 of 601 North Sycamore Avenue, Sycamore, Ohio died at 11:15 P.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at home. He was born on August 12, 1943 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Carl Edwin and Elonise Jennie (Williams) Clady. He married Ganelle "Susie" (Hill) Clady on February 24, 1980 and she survives.Surviving are the following children: Quinton C. Clady, Sycamore, Ohio, William E. Fox, Bucyrus, Ohio, Katherine L. (Ray) Collins, Marion, Indiana, Rebecca Hennessy, Upper Sandusky, Ohio and David (June) Fox, Middleburg, Florida. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren ,two brothers, John (Bobbi Jean) Clady, Louisiana, Rodney (Deb) Clady, Marion, Ohio and one sister, Sharon (Chris) Schriever, Lewisburg, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Clady besides his parents.Bill was a police officer all his life starting with the Bucyrus Police Department for eight years and retiring in 2003 after twenty-six years as police officer for the Village of Sycamore, Ohio. He also was a deputy for the Wyandot County Sheriff's Department.Bill was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Wyandot County Sheriff's Auxillary and the Buckeye State Sheriff's Association. He was a lifetime member of Rogers Lake Conservation Association and at one time was a member of the Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department. For hobbies he loved to hunt, go fishing, trap turtles, loved to clean fish for people, play cards, loved to mow yards and loved to go uptown every morning and drink coffee with his buddies.Funeral services for Bill will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Rick Dawson officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
