CLARE, William (Bill) DuncanBill passed away peacefully on June 19, 2017 at the Redwater Health Center. He was born on July 3, 1926 in Radway. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Jessie; brother James; sister Shirley; and son, Robert. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Aura (René); granddaughters, Fern and Terra; and great-grandsons: Torin, Marek and Léon; his sister, Alicemary and her family; his brother James' family; as well as many friends from the community where he spent his entire life.Bill was a member of the Radway Lions Club from 1969 until his death and also participated in the Radway Agricultural Society. He took over the family farm when his father passed and was joined in this endeavor in 1971 when he married Edna Lelond. Bill was known for his patience and generosity throughout his life. Even after he retired from farming and moved into Radway, he still did some tractor and swather driving for farming friends. Moving from Radway into the Thorhild Lodge kept his crib playing skills sharp!A celebration of Bill's life will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton.
