Turner, William AndrewWilliam Andrew Turner, 41, died Tuesday, March 21 after a brief illness.Will was born on June 15, 1975 to Betty and Walter Turner. A life-long resident of Montgomery, Will was a graduate of Montgomery Catholic High School and Troy University in Montgomery. The majority of Will's life was spent in the service of others through his work in the hospitality industry. Will possessed an immediately recognizable passion for life and friends. Any person he served or spent time with will always remember his warm, welcoming smile, his great laugh and comfortable demeanor. No one was a stranger - no one left out - if Will Turner was around. He loved his family, his friends, his dogs, the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Chicago Cubs, the beach communities of 30-a in Florida and his music (not necessarily in that order).Will is survived by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sanderson Turner; his brothers, Christopher Matthew Turner and John Mark Turner (Morgan Lemly Turner); his sister, Caroline Turner Taylor (George Lewis 'Pete' Taylor, Sr.); his nephews, George Lewis 'Pete' Taylor, Jr. and Walter Turner Taylor; his niece, Helen Wallace Taylor, and many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 27 at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 315 Clanton Avenue in Montgomery. Visitation with the family will be held in Ascension Hall beginning at 12:00pm. The memorial service will begin at 1:00pm in the nave. Music will begin in the nave shortly before the service.In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorials be made to the music program of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 315 Clanton Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
